Could you please confirm for the case when when child was born before ILR was granted to parent.
In my case:
Child Born in 2016 and ILR was granted in 2019.
Can I apply directly for passport or shall apply for naturalisation/citizenship first.

Your child is not automatically British and cannot apply directly for a passport.

A UK born child born before you got ilr has to be registered as British on form MN1 first before you can apply for a passport.
