Contacting HO before decision

Good day,

Just wondering if anyone has contacted the home office to provide additional documents before a decision was made on their application. Or can the UKVCAS document upload still be used to upload an additional document a few weeks after submission?

I have read stories of people forgetting to add certain documents and then realising after they have submitted. Just want to know if people have generally contacted HO to add more documents to their application, how they contacted the HO and if the documents were accepted.

HO will usually contact the applicant if something is missing.

Anything you upload AFTER your biometrics appointment will NOT be considered.
