Form NQ online application - anything to do after?

Hey folks!

I just finished doing my online application for form NQ (proof of non-acquisition of British citizenship) so that I can keep my South African citizenship. After you pay the last step is "Download and print" your form, but then that's it?

I don't have to post it anywhere or do anything? I just wait? Why would I want to print out the form if you don't have to do anything with it :/

Why can't the Home Office just be clear with it's instructions!

I have recently applied myself, but a postal application. I'm a bit concerned as they've still not taken any money out and it's been more than the 10 working days! I need to get on with my Naturalisation application, so this is now holding it up.

They are really slow, they had a warning up when I did mine saying they were at high capacity or something but surely form NQ doesn't take a lot of manpower :/ At least when they take payment you know they're doing something. With online, they take your money and you have no idea what's going on!

OK I got the letter now :) So if you do it online then you don't need to post anything and it seems fairly efficient (surprising!).

Hey sorry for not getting back to you! I don't log on here often.

I applied in UK and had it sent to a UK address. After you submit the form online and they take your payment, that's it - you don't have to do anything more.

It's really quick to get it, a couple of weeks :) Actually you probably have yours already!
