Hello Guys

I would like to know when is my actual eligibility date depending on the below timelines:

-- Married to EU national Nov 2012
-- 5 yrs Residence Document issued April 2013 to April 2018
-- ILR refused due to 8 months gap for EU national in exercising treaty rights (Gap: 2014-2015)
-- 5 yrs Residence Document issued July 2018
-- Settled Status issued Feb 2019

2013-2019 I've lived in the UK continuously 6 years, can the experts advice when is the exact eligibility, please.

Many thanks!

You will qualify in Feb 2020 when you have been living permanently in the UK for min of 12 months (as you are not married to a British)
The '6 years requirement' for naturalisation qualification for people under the EEA route is based on the assumption of 5 years of having EEA derived residence (exercising treaty rights) followed by a year of holding a PR or an ILR.

Naturalisation application through EU settled route

Hello All

I'm seeking some assistance in order to select the right option via the online application for the naturalisation application.

Background:

I've been granted ILR on 6th Feb 2019 and I believe I'll be eligible for citizenship on or after 6th Feb 2020.

ILR was granted under EU settled status route as I was married. (My marriage dissolved in October 2019)
Although I was NOT been awarded with new ILR biometric card but been told in the ILR letter to continue using the same old biometric which is valid until June 2023 and Home Office systems will be updated accordingly.

Married Nov 2012
Residence granted April 2013
Residence renewed June 2018 (Due to subsequent gap in exercising treaty rights by EEA national)
ILR granted Feb 2019
Decree Absolute Oct 2019

Issue:

I've had a look at how the online application looks like and came across a question as below:

Question 1: Are you married? (I have remarried in Nov 2019) (Yes/No) ??
Question 2: Are you a family member of EEA national? (I'm no longer EEA spouse) (Yes/No) ??

Your assistance will be much appreciated and thank you in advance.

Obviously you answer YES if you are married!!
Question 2: Are you a family member of EEA national? (I'm no longer EEA spouse) (Yes/No) ??
How would we know if your CURRENT spouse is an EEA national or not as you don't specifically state that. If non EU citizen, then you answer NO.
