Hello everyone

Just need some information as my friend is going to apply for her daughter first British passport

Baby is 4 months old

She already have ILR and also when her baby is born.but the father of baby dose not have British passport or ilr he dose not have any visa at the moment and also he is not married to baby mother

in this case dose she need to put father details on passport application form or she can just put her details only
she do have baby birth certificate with both mother and father name on it.

Please can some one help

Yes father dose have his name on birth certificate and mother name as well

If the mother had ILR before the birth and father's name is on the certificate, then I do not see any issue on getting the first British passport as the child is British at birth

Dear Zimba so shall mother apply the passport with only her details on form or she can put both father and mother details please advice

Both parents details as the form asks. You have to submit the birth certificate, so make sure all details are correct and the same.

The father's immigration status is NOT relevant. All his details must be put on the application
