I am ready for naturalization. I got my ILR in Sep 2018 on 10 year route. I have 2 questions.

1) Do I need to provide Like in UK again. As I provided this for my ILR not really sure if home office sent me back my Like in UK?

2) I was involved in shoplifting in 2014 and police was involved but I never got arrested but paid the fine. Do I need to mention in my application and also Is it better for me to wait until Dec 2019 so 5 years are over? I didnt mention in my ILR application and It was fine. Really worried if its going to have an impact on my Passport application.

Look forward to some help and advice

YES. you need to submit the same LITUK certificate you did for your naturalisation

Citizenship applications are a whole different ball game to ILR it terms of good character checks. and It's always worst if they find out stuff that you did not willfully declare in your application. I don't think (I may be wrong in that) the fine itself is reasons for refusal but not declaring it may definitely cause more trouble if it comes up in a check.

Go and check your criminal record as it might be there. whether it appears on your record or not, I will suggest that you declare the shoplifting in your application, especially because the police were involved.

Insight. Shoplifting penalty is not a criminal conviction.

Thanks Aman for correction. Does this mean should I mention this or not?

It’s more than 3 years ago.
Mentioning it will not affect ur application.
To be on the safe side state it.

Thanks for your quick response.

I just noticed I had 2 parking tickets one on 30th Sep 2019 and other was 15th of Oct 2019 ( 2 in space of 15 days) I moved to a new place and had some parking issues. But I paid straight away both of them. Is it gona cause any issue? do I need to mention them?

Thank you,

Issued by the council or private? PCNs don’t need to be declared.
