Please I am asking this information for my sister.

She has received her EU settle status since March this year and she has a child who is born in the UK and now she is just 2years old. But on the form for registration, referee has to proof that they have known her for 3years but the child is only 2yrs.

Please my question is: Does those referees has to be British, because none either GP and health visitor are ready to give their details and besides they do not know the child for 3yrs.

Please Mod/any person with wisdom on this should please save us.

There is no 3 year known requirement for children.

She needs TWO referees, on professional of any nationality ideally someone engaged with the child in a professional capacity and the other referee must be British and over 25.

Thank you so much for quick response but the biggest problem for her now was all the people who have engaged with the child in a professional setting as you have said are not ready to do it and for that reason she is stuck. They only said they can give a letter to state how long they have know the child and what capacity without their DOB/HOUSE ADDRESS/NAMES.

Any suggestion on this please will be appreciated!
