Forum members,
Background:
*Both parents are on ILR
*Child born in the UK before parents on ILR : Certificate of registration received (Dec 2019)
*Completed the online UK passport application, waiting for referee status ( as it is Xmas they might be not in station)
Questions:
1. What are the details that need to be filed by the referee that gets the link? As our names are long , they might not know our full names and date of birth etc
2. As a parent of the child, what are original supporting documents that needs to be sent to the UK passport office ?
Upon completing the online passport application and paying the fees, What you need to do has 2 points
1. Ask someone to confirm your identity
2. Get your documents ready
Sign in to check what you need to send. We can only receive your documents after
your identity has been confirmed. We’ll let you know when and where to send them.
Thank you in advance

The referee will be asked to fill their details and enter the DOB of your child. So let them know about the DOB. When approved, the system will let you know later what you need to send

Thank you Zimba
this is what i see in the application process after identification process is completed by the referee.
What you need to send
You must send original documents - we can’t accept photocopies. Your application will be delayed if you don’t send everything we need.
Applicant’s documents
Send the following:
naturalisation or registration certificate
any current or expired passports from other countries that haven’t been cancelled
any court orders (for example that describe parental responsibility or residency arrangements)
If you don’t have parental responsibility, also send the following:
a signed and dated letter from the mother (or other person with parental responsibility) giving consent for the issue of the child’s new passport
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If any of the following apply, you need to send additional documents:
include a professional, or other title on your passport
apply for a British National Overseas (BNO) passport
apply for a passport under treaty rights
change your gender on your passport
get a first UK passport based on your parents’ Crown or Community service
get a first UK passport if you were born abroad but adopted in the UK before 1 January 1983
get a first UK passport if you were adopted abroad and you haven’t naturalised or registered
get a first UK passport if you were born in the Philippines, or your parents are married or divorced and have links to the Philippines
apply for a first UK passport if you were born through surrogacy
apply for a British Protected Person passport
If i understand it clearly , i need to send the below documents , otherwise please correct me
1. child's original naturalisation certificate
2. child's Indian passport
Thank you

Thank you Zimba.
The identity confirmation process might have been changed now , as per my recent (a week) ago , our referee was asked
1. Referee name and passport details ( start and expiry date)
2. Confirm parents names ( fn, mn, ln) and DoB
3. Confirm child's name and photo
4. the above questions will be jumbled and finally you get to the 3 ( you cannot hit back or navigate back)
Best regards

Thank you Zimba, appreciate it.
Bit of a panic attack, looking at the timelines, most of them received the next day or day or two.
Waiting is the key !
