Hello
I am about to apply for my daughter citizenship and I have few questions to clarify:
• Iam tunisian with ILR but my daughter has no proof of ID YET as she is only 1 month old,is the birth certificate enough?
• I just got my ILR through EU settlement scheme (but am not europeen and divorced from EEA family member) in the question “are you going to use your EEA OR EEA FAMILY MEMBER status in the application “ shall I answer YES or NO?
•I have only my previous Residence card in which It is written “ Pre settled status” and the home office only sent me an Email for ILR as they don’t produce a new RC,shall I still send the old one or the email as a proof of my status?
• I am a single mother and the father is not on the Birth certificate, what proof shall I provide as parental responsibility?
• in the referee declaration,a photo should be signed and attached? Shall I scan it that way?
• for my passport shall I upload all pages or just the first one?
Many thanks in advance

1. Yes that should suffice.
2. You have ILR under Appendix EU of the Immigration Rules, it’s irrelevant why you got it, the answer is no.
3. You upload your ILR email letter with the MN1 application.
4. You being the registered Mother on the BC gives you PR.
5. A photo should be glued on and the referees sign the specific short forms.
6. The photo page of the passport.
I have assumed the child was born in the UK.

Thanks for your reply
You said “ You have ILR under Appendix EU of the Immigration Rules, it’s irrelevant why you got it, the answer is no.” I obtained my ILR through retained right of residence under EU scheme, I asume that am no longer considered as “EU FAMILY MEMBER” ?
The child is born in UK (1 month old) shall I still book for biometric appointment?
I have an emergency to travel soon (father is sick) can add that on the notes for the application to be processed faster?
Kindest regards

All applicants have to do biomterics. You need to book an appointment.

This is unlikely to make ho speed up the application. It can take a few weeks and up to 6 months. Passport is then a separate application and process.

Hello amber
In a different post you replied that first pages and stamped ones should be uploaded ?

Also am not confident with uploading, does it mean I need to take pictures of documents while submitting the application online?

I am not Amber but I can answer your question.
You will need to scan your document and then upload the scanned document to your application. Many phones can be used to scan these days as long as the quality is good enough. If you are still not confident uploading the document yourself, then you will have to pay for document scanning when booking your UKVCAS appointment with Sopra Steria.
This application is not for you so you don't need to scan all the pages of your passport. Just the data page is what you need.

Thank you for clarifying
I have another issue
One referee gave me all his details but the other one refused to give me the passport number,in the application the system won’t let me proceed if I leave it blank. Any advice?

You either explain to the referee that you are applying to the Home Office and his passport was issued by the Home Office OR find another referee. Unfortunately with the concern about data security some referees are over-thinking this

The professional referee does NOT have to be British.
