Child 1st Passport - Parents' passport at the time of applicant's birth

Hi,

I'm applying for my daughter's first passport after she received her certificate of registration. I'm doing the paper application for a 1-week fast track. Referring to page 16 of the application booklet - Q3 is asking me to provide "Evidence of applicant's parents' immigration status in the UK at the time of applicant's birth. This could be :
- Parents passport at the time of applicant's birth
- If fathers passport, the marriage certificate between applicant's mother and father is needed
..."

At the time of birth we were on a tier 2 BRP card. Our passports at the time won't show an indication of status. Should I just send the passports and assume they'll figure it out?
Also could you please clarify what is meant by 'if fathers passport' in the second bullet point?

Many thanks in advance

Not relevant if child has a registration certificate.

You only complete the sections relevant to a child who has gone through MN1.

This makes sense, but the question doesn't exclude children with reg certificate.

Could you please have a glance at this link 'page 16' and let me know what you think?

Q2 does say xxx OR xxx OR certificate of registration. So you only need certificate of registration, not all the documents listed
