British Naturalisation applied too early

Hi everyone,

I have done something very stupid:
I am applying for British citizenship. I have received my permanent residency card on the 20th of Feb 2019 so I had to keep it for a year after applying for naturalisation (that means up until 20th of Feb 2020).
I was getting all the documents sorted and plan ahead of time what to do, believing that the procedure in order to get the citizenship would require a lot of work so I started a couple of days ago with the application online. I paid for it on the 14th of December 2019 and that appears now on my application.

I am so nervous because I fear my application will be rejected and apparently I can't withdraw it as I would lose the money I just spent.

Is there any hope? what would be the best thing to do in this case?
The best case scenario is if I can tell them somehow to ignore my application, get a refund and restart in February 2020, when I WAS MEANT to sent the application and pay.

Now I have to carry on and book for the biometrics and I will have to submit my documents...

I am desperate, anyone has got a nice way to solve this without casualties

Thanks to everyone in advance

20th Feb is a long time. I believe you can withdraw your application and then ask for a refund. You can search the forum for a similar case. A few people have experienced something similar
