Excessive leave in last 90 days - Advice

Hello everyone and thanks for your attention,

I am applying for naturalisation as an EU citizen with PR since August 2018.

I meet all requirements but unfortunately, due to my girlfriend living abroad and my frequent visit during weekends, I am over the 90 days in the last 12 months requirement (around 110, depending on the moment of my application).

The pattern is quite clear, around 3 weekends a month away in the same EU city and a couple of 2 weeks holidays during the year.

Other than that I have worked continuously in the UK with payslips for the last 5 years, hold bank accounts and credit cards and have proof of address for the whole qualifying period. I do not own a property.

My question would be, do you think that a clear pattern could cast a doubt on my "Future Intention" and therefore increase the possibility of a rejection combined with the excessive absence in the last year? To clarify, I do not intend to leave the UK as this place is effectively my home.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

1 - you could wait for a while so that your days away in the preceding 12 month period reduce to or near to 90 days.
2 - In itself your travel movements will not affect your application, as long as you satisfy all requirements.

Hello and many thanks for the help.

Unfortunately I have a few planned trips and it looks like the number might actually increase so I think I will submit my application before these trips (I currently stand at 105 days in the last year) and hope it goes well.

Overall I have 271 in the last 5 years so every other requirement is met.

I also realised the online form only allows for 30 trips so I will have to supply additional details when providing my documents.

Best,
