Hello

I have recently been granted ILR and married to a British Citizen.
I have read that I am eligible to apply for naturalisation without having to wait for 12 months. Is my understanding correct ?
We have been married for 1.5 years. Do the number of years of marriage matter to be eligible for me to apply ?

Thank you in advance

Yes, you can apply for naturalisation without waiting under section 6(2) BNA 1981, subject to meeting the other general requirements.
