10 year work history - Question

Hi There,

Would be thankful if someone can answer please.

- Passed my MSC final exam in January 2010
- Worked full time between Feb 2010 - End of May 2010
- Switched Student visa into Tier 4 on 27 May 2010
- Started PhD from 1 June 2010

When I ordered my employment history from HMRC, I found the full time job I was working had a end date of 8 June 2010, whereas I started full time PhD from 1 June 2010.

I believe I wasn't working for these 8-10 days but do you think that would be a problem? The job from 6 April 2010 to 8 June 2010 resulted in an income of £1300, with £0 tax and £17.60 NI.

Please help to solve this thing!!!

As working is not a requirement of citizenship this shouldn’t be an issue. In terms of breaching any immigration restrictions, if you didn’t, then nothing to worry about.

Yes that's right, the only point is its a very long period of time and I honestly do not remember if I quit the job before the PhD start date or 8 days later. Or its the date employer informed HMRC the end date.

Absolutely no idea, hence asking people if in similar scenarios, how did they work out ...
