Query regarding my son's British Passport application process

Hi All,
I would like to inform you that I have recently got ILR Hence I have applied for my son's British Citizenship [using MN1] who born in uk on 2015 but staying with grandparents in India from last 3 years. My son received his British Citizenship certificate last week so now I would like to apply for his British passport wither from India or Uk. I would like to get all his documents like his indian passport,Citizenship certificate etc to UK via my friend who will be coming to uk from India in next 2 weeks time and apply for his British passport from UK as the process is quicker And I need to provide less documentation.
Once I received his British passport then I would like to send his British passport to India via another friend who will be going to india by end of Feb 2020 and then I can bring my son to UK using his British passport.
So please advice me that whether can i apply for his British passport from UK or not..
