Biometrics for 4-year -old and appointment FEE UKVCAS

Hi, I am trying to book an appointment to get my son's biometrics, but it says he doesn't need to give his fingerprints. So the cheapest fee I found is £75 ... the free appointments are gone.
So do I really have to pay £75 just to get my son's PHOTO??
Am I missing something? or will I really have to do it? That sounds so unfair

If no free appointments the yes, that's what you have to pay.
Note the ukcvas appointment is not only taking a photo, it is confirming identity with original passport etc and submitting your electronic uploads to ho once identity has been confirmed.

Thank you! But the website says I can Upload the documents by myself...
But it doesn't say if I should do it before or after the biometrics. Do you know?

You must upload everything before the biometric appointment.
Anything uploaded afterwards, won't be considered.

Thank you! I'm trying to pay for the appointment, Input all my card details and when I click in the make payment button nothing happens! Has anybody come accross to this issue?
