UKVCAS British citizenship application

Hi all,
I have an appointment with UKVCAS for my British citizenship this Friday. It is a standard appointment at the Stratford branch. I am uploading all my documents before-hand, but I didn't realise I would need to scan every used page of my passport. Do I also need to do this for previous / expired passports if these are within the last 5 year period? I have tried scanning the photo page of my passport, but the hologram is appearing over part of my photo. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a solution? Do I need to wait and scan this at the centre during the appointment with their special scanner? Please advise, thank you.

Try and scan all the stamped pages in addition to the data page on all your passports and upload. As for your current passport, it will likely be rescanned during your appointment. So nothing to worry about. Just make sure the scans are clear enough to read

Hi all,
I originally posted this as a comment but I think it needs to be a new post.
I have an appointment with UKVCAS for my British citizenship this Friday (17/01). It is a standard appointment at the Stratford branch. I am uploading all my documents before-hand, but I didn't realise I would need to scan every used page of my passport. Can someone confirm this is the case? Do I also need to do this for previous / expired passports if these are within the last 5 year period? I have tried scanning the photo page of my passport, but the hologram is appearing over part of my photo. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a solution? Do I need to wait and scan this at the centre during the appointment with their special scanner? I haven't currently booked any additional services for my appointment. Please advise, thank you.

Document upload - category query

Hi all,

I have my UKVCAS appointment with UK immigration this Friday and am currently uploading my documents. The only mandatory document in my list is my passport. The optional document types are: residence in the UK, finances, proof of business, life events, medical information, sponsors / employment, proof of identity / travel history and educational. I am providing as many of these as I can.

I have currently uploaded the photo page of my passport under the mandatory passport requirement, and then all the stamped pages under travel history. Does anyone know if this is correct, or should the photo page and all stamped pages go under the mandatory category for passport?

I don't want to duplicate the same documents in different categories, but I don't want to not include what is needed as a mandatory in category either.

Please can someone advise?

Thank you,

Shanna

Just load everything in the "Other" category - the system is used for many other applications but for naturalisation they are not necessary.
