I have tier- 2 dependent visa and my partner has ILR. Our child Is born in UK. we obtained dependent visa which is expired now.i assume we can apply child for British citizenship now?. I have query about if child needs to obtained British citizenship/visa before planning to travel abroad(asia) ? Or will child need it before only while entering UK?

When was the child born? Before or after your partner got ILR??

Your child can leave the UK at any time but if they don't have a visa or a British passport, they won't be able to return.
