MN1 Application submitted - what is child's right to stay until MN1 decision is made?

Hi,

I have submitted (and paid for) my child's MN1 application online and provided her biometrics last week here in the UK. Child was born in the UK in 2019 and I recently got my ILR (previously I was Tier 2).

My child is holding a Singapore passport and can stay in the UK for 6 months without a Visa. With the MN1 application, I would like her to gain dual nationality as both countries allow.

Since the MN1 processing could take up to 6 months, would my child be able to stay on after the end of her 6 month stay. What is her right to stay until the decision is made? If not, what are my options?

Thanks

Child does not require extant leave for a section 1(3) BNA 1981 application, as the child is under 10, therefore should not be a Character issue.

Has the child ever left the UK?

Yes. After she was born in the UK, she obtained her Singapore passport and went overseas for a month before returning to UK in September 2019.
