British citizenship for ILR obtained via Tier-1 Ent 3 year route

Hi All,
My friend has obtained ILR in feb 2019, and the confusion is whether he is eligible for naturalisation in feb 2020.
1) The confusion is because ILR was obtained through 3 year route of Tier-1 ENT and he is in the UK via Tier-2 general since 2014 (continuous stay is more than 5 years).
Question is whether he is eligible for naturalisation and does he satisfy 5 year stay in the category?
2) And it is not clear whether he has to fill 3 year category or 5 year category while completing the
application form.
3) Also Is there any extra details required in this application category.

Thanks
FAFIN

The rule is resident in the UK for 5 years (subject to allowable absences) unless your are the spouse/civil partner of a British citizen. It is not about the type of stay. Purely 5 years legal residence.

Additionally, must have ILR for 12 months and have been physically present in the UK exactly 5 years prior to the day in which you submit the online application AN.
