Applying for Child British Passport - Parent on ILR

Hi,

I have ILR visa since last year April and now I want to apply for British Passport for my daughter. She was born on 06/12/2019 when I was on ILR. On this basis I can apply for her Passport straight away I guess.

I was filling the Apply your first Passport form and it asked me to detail the Maternal and Paternal Grandparents information which is OTT i think. Even if i provide the information at the end document check list will ask for birth certificates for Grandparents. How can i provide this? Can i ignore this and carry on without providing this info?

Am I filling the right form? Can't remember filling these details for my first daughter (after her naturalization).

Please advise.
thanks

Grandparent details and documents are not required in your circumstances.

Note that the same form is used for everyone, British born and immigrants etc.

Hi,

Thanks for reply, On last document list page I have been asked to provide following:

Parents’ documents
For 1 of your parents, send 1 of the following:

full birth or adoption certificate
naturalisation or registration certificate
the non-British passport they had when you were born showing indefinite leave to remain
Grandparents’ documents

Does above mean I need to send my ILR card and Passport?

Send all of the following for both maternal grandparents:

full birth or adoption certificate
grandfather’s marriage certificate to your grandmother (if this applies)
And all of the following for both paternal grandparents:

full birth or adoption certificate
grandfather’s marriage certificate to your grandmother (if this applies)

I don't have above document, shall i just ignore this?

please advise

thanks
