I would like to use the online application process to apply for my British citizenship. However my international passport expired last month. On the online application form their are Three questions.

1. Do you have a valid passport? I put NO because the form will not allow me to put an expiry date that is in the past for the passpot. After putting answer you get the following question.

2.Do you have a valid national identity card? What details should I put here. Is this questions requiring information for my international identity card from my country or My passport number.

3.Do you have a travel document. My passport which recetly expired is the travel document I used. Again I am not sure what answer to put here.

If I put NO the applications goes to ask this question.

Reason for not providing identification documents?

Does the online form accomodate applications with an expired passport. Should I just fill in the mannual form and send that appication instead.

Thanks

Yes the International Identity Card. It would be no to them all them if you do not have them, stating the reason - my passport has expired. Still upload a copy of the expired passport along with your BRP on UKVCAS portal when you upload documents.

If it’s valid, in date, you put yes.
