Naturalisation queries

So my friends after 6 long years the time is here now to apply for BC through Naturalisation, I obtained ILR after 5 years of continous stay in UK under Tier 2 (General). Spouse is not a British Citizen and is on ILR but will not be applying with me due to her own reasons (no convictions etc.).

I will make sure that I was not out of country exactly 5 years ago on the exact date I pay for the application and submit it online.

No complication over absence period etc as I meet the criteria. Anything else I should watch out for?

Some quick questions from me please,
  1. Can I apply for British Citizenship exactly 1 day the next year after the date I obtained ILR . E.g. if I obtained ILR on 01/01/2019 can I apply for British Citizenship on 02/01/2020 ?
  2. I am on a holiday between two jobs (starting new employment in March 2020 but as I am not currently employed and won't be when applying for Citizenship will it make a difference if I am unemployed?
  3. What are the current lead times for Naturalisation applications? Can I expect it to take full 6 months?
Appreciate your help to clarify please.

1. Full 12 months on ilr yes.

2. Irrelevant.

3. Check the timelines. Some take 2 months, some take 6 months, some take longer.
