Can I travel while applying for naturalisation

Hi gurus,

I am eligible to apply for naturalisation in April, however will have to go abroad in July for a wedding (just 3 days).

My questions are:

1) Can I travel while applying for naturalisation? I'm non EU, so will need both passport and my ILR BRP in order to re-enter the UK.

2) I also need to apply for a Schengen visa for the wedding. Can I apply for it while the naturalisation application is still pending?

Naturalisation application has no effect on your travel plans. You can travel as normal as no original document is sent.
