Hi,

I got a message saying passport print and sent this morning before 8am.

I have not received a text from dx

Question:
Does everyone get a text before delivery
How long after above message does one expect text

I know its a formality but would just like to plan to be home on the day it arrives

You will probably get a text from dx on monday and then passport delivered on tuesday.

Not all deliveries are done by DX directly; some deliveries go through Royal Mail. This depends on your address. Give DX a call. They will have your information if indeed they have already picked it up from the HMPO.

Not all deliveries are done by DX directly; some deliveries go through Royal Mail. This depends on your address. Give DX a call. They will have your information if indeed they have already picked it up from the HMPO.

HMPO doesn't give the tracking number for delivery. You only get the tracking number from the text message from DX. The tracking link in the message sent by HMPO is for passport processing and not about delivery. Your passport will come from DX and if you have paid extra money for your document to be returned by a secured delivery, then it will come from DX as well. Otherwise, your document will come by Royal Mail and passport by DX. HMPO doesn't use Royal Mail for passport delivery. And since the OP was asking about passport, my initial suggestion stands, DX will likely contact the OP today or Monday and then deliver the passport on Monday or Tuesday.
There is no point contacting DX at this stage. If you have not been contacted by DX by Monday then you can call them
