Can you please also help on this, I am seeing people are looking for the day to be here in 3 years before,
As far i know we should look for the day to be here 5 years before.
Can someone please confirm?
They are not out side 90 days in 12 months and making sure that the date we are submitting application ( from that date to 3 years date should be in UK)

You need to attend your ceremony within 90 days from approval letter.

The 3 years presence requirment is for people married to a British citizen. For everyone else it is 5 years, no 3 year requirment if not married to a British citizen.

Thanks a lot for your replies, Just one more question to start the process
I am British citizen
MY wife came to UK in May 2015 (Visa stamped in Feb 2015)
Just last week she got ILR,
If i go by 3 years back, In Feb 2018 she was here.
So, Can she apply the naturalization this week,
Is there anything she need to finish full 5 years in UK for naturalization?

2020 minus 3 years is 2017 not 2018.
A Spouse of a British citizen application is based on 3 years residence.

You need 2 referees for each applicant. They can be the same referees.

Hi Guys,
Getting difficulty in finding referee for my 2 x children, Not able to get any one from the below list, but found 1 teacher who knows my children, British, and ready to sign it for us "but she is not from same school"
Can someone please let u know if this is okay, someone gone through with this?
"One referee should be a professional who has engaged with the child in a professional capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of religion"
Second referee found, No issues on that.
