My ILr issue date is 4 dec 2019, as tier 1 dependent i have some queries please reply.


1. after issue date of ILR Dec 2019,will i count previous 4 years for my absences i.e 2019+ 2018+2017+ 2016 till Dec 4 2016, i.e. after issue date of ILr previous 4 years and after ILR issue date 1 year (4+1) for naturalisation.

2.90 days allowed in last year from the date of application and 360 days in last 4 years total absences will be 450 however, 30 days discretionary absences are allowed i.e 480 days in total 5 years, 90 days in last year.

Do NOT tag your questions onto other members topics!!

Citizenship is based on the 5 years immediately preceding the date of application.

The absence limit is no more than 450 days absence in the WHOLE 5 years and no more than 90 days absence in the 12 months before applying. There is some discretion to ignore slightly over the limit absences.

Please also do not spam the forum in other topics with the same question!!!
