Hi,
I have had ilr since january 2019 and my daughter is born in uk , on feb 2020. I am aware that she is eligible for British passport but does she have to go through naturalization (process and fees ) before applying to British passport or she can directly apply for passport ?
I am currently eligible to apply for British passport , so if i get the british passport , does she need to apply for naturalization at all ?
Please let me know
Thanks,

Provided the child is born in the UK and at least one parent had ILR at the time of birth of the child, the child is born a British citizen and does not require either naturalisation or registration.
It is recommended that you do not surrender your ILR BRP after your naturalisation as that is the basis of your child's British citizenship.

Thankyou for the reply
When i went on to apply for passport online ..it asks following question
Do you have a naturalisation or registration certificate?
(You’ll only have one of these certificates if you applied for British nationality through the Home Office.)
I have the birth certificate of the child ...is that what it means ...or should i say no and proceed ....please let me know .if you are aware of it
Thanks,

Clearly it should be NO as your daughter is already British, and then answer the follow-on questions.
What you need to provide I think is your proof of ILR and your daughter's birth certificate.
