Non-EEA Lacking Residency Evidence

Hello all,

Looking for some advice on my wife's citizenship application. She's non-EEA and we settled in the UK via the Surinder Singh route back in 2014. At the back end of last year she was given Settled Status under the EUSS.

We want to apply for citizenship so our whole family (finally!) has the same passport and can travel under the same terms as each other.

We've hit a bit of a problem on the evidence required to prove her residence in the UK over the last 3 years (as she's married to me, a British citizen). During that time she was looking after our children so she doesn't have a long employment history (she's worked since 2019, so we can evidence that). Her passport has no stamps as she was entering and exiting using an EEA Family Permit, and border control did nothing on entry and exit.

To try to get more evidence, we used a SAR to the Home Office but it's uncovered nothing of any use (just a landing card from 2011). She wasn't named on council tax or anything like that during the period.

All we've managed to get so far is a list of her doctor's appointments, joint bank statements, and joint mortgage payments - yet this doesn't seem to meet Home Office criteria?

Apologies for the long message, but we're really pulling our hair out in trying to figure out what they need.
