Hello

I was hoping to seek clarity on a question that I am getting varied responses to.

My question is, is a child permitted to apply for a British Passport if:
1) the child is born in the UK
2) to a mother who is a British Citizen by descent
3) to a father who is a current resident via FLR(M)
4) to which the parents are married and have both been living in the UK together for +4 years

Thank you!

Yes. A child born in the uk to a British parent, either by descent or otherwise by descent, makes the child British.
