Registration of children born outside and father is on ILR

Hello Respected members please help if you could.

I am on indefinite leave to remain in the uk from the past few years.i am a resident of non EEA country and my family is residing back in the country.All i wanna say is that two of my children born after my ilr status and i want to apply for their british registration.Do my kids qualify for british registration at this point when i am on ilr and have no chance in near future that i shall apply for naturalisation.

they are born in pakistan and still there but i am on ilr before their birth

They don't qualify for citizenship based on your ilr if they were born outside the UK.

They would only qualify had they been born within the UK.

Do you live outside the UK or in the UK?? Unclear from this sentence what you mean.

If you live outside the UK, how long has it been since you left the UK?

i live in the uk and i am settled here and my kids are born outside uk.

Your children don't qualify for citizenship.

They would have to apply for the same visa as your spouse if you want then to come lie in the UK.

To expand further on my colleague's point above, any children born to you abroad before the date of your naturalisation certificate will have the same UK Immigration status as that of the less-privileged parent (in this case, their mother) and will need to move to the UK on the same visa as their other parent for at least five years before they can apply for ILR.

Your British citizenship acquired after their birth will not assist or benefit them in any way to acquire British citizenship automatically.

Depending on their age when they get ILR, they can then either be registered as British citizens (before their 18th birthday) or naturalise in their own right , meeting all the requirements (after their 18th birthday).
