Hi all,
I applied for a citizenship, naturalisation route and I have a settled status.
I am trying to book an appointment for my biometric with UKVCAS but all I can find (whatever time I try to book) is just appointments with a fee. I read many of you managed to book a free appointment.
Am I missing something?
Thank you very much in advance!
Look Tuesday @ 12:01 GMT. If you look tonight/tomorrow system will show weekend appointments 28th day forward which is a weekend. Weekends are always paid.
Thank you very much for your answer. I actually have been trying most of the week and appointments start from 65 pounds, even in the core centers. I think there is no escape! They must have changed it. I'll keep trying anyway. Fingers crossed

Hiya, I paid £135 for my appointment, it was in July. The center in my city (Southampton) did not offer free appointments when I had to do mine, so I don't know if some centers work differently than others.

@caTSworn
If you look tonight after 12AM GMT, the normal paid appointment availability will show 13th Dec (Sunday) unless there are any earlier cancellations and you are lucky. Note, on Sunday only a very few centres are open. So availability will be very scarce. Best to look Tues 00:01 GMT to book one for 14th Dec (Mon). Week days show free appointment option also.

Also this may help: I received a UKVI survey on 6th Nov but no decision email. I contacted HO on 10th Nov. I received my approval in POST on 14th Nov (dated 12th Nov). So if anyone of you receives a UKVI survey but no decision in email, best to contact HO. I am not sure if that triggered my approval sent via POST.
Very happy for you bro.
told you already to send them an email and not wait for whole 6 months... lOlZzz let's call it again coincidence! :D
Anyways... happy for you!

Congratulations! Finally you’ve got your approval - by Post! :o

I am still waiting for mine.. haven’t received any survey like you though and already emailed twice to HO but no reply of course. What do you think shall i email to mailto:NationalityFrontEndTechnicalSpecialists@homeoffice.gov.uk or wait 3 more weeks until 6 months is over?

oh congrats ... you are finally done. I havent got any emails (survey or approval) but my timeline is almost identical to yours. Do you think its worth me writing to them as well and asking status? If so, what email did you write to? Thanks

Thank you @Hansi89 @Soulmickey

I did not ask for an update. I just sent them the survey email and asked them to resend me the decision as I was concerned my decision is made but i did not receive an email. Maybe that triggered the decision in post or maybe my decision was already made.

I would advise you to wait 6 months before asking for a status update as that would be ignored otherwise. I hope you get a decision soon but God forbid if it takes 6 months, your email at 6 months mark will have more weight then. Obviously the choice is yours how to go about the situation as you know best for yourself.

I too got an approval for the application. But only for the adult. Not have an update for the minor applicants which was included in my application. Is it common to approvals in seperately, eventhough the application was together?
Or in otherway, if I ask, has any one got the approval, after getting the 45 days Biomentric email, even after using IDV App?

Congrats! I asked the same question last week about whether anyone had gotten approval after the 45 days biometric email and so far no one answered. I haven’ t, nor my dependent.

YOu are correct! I even commented on it! Ha.
Based on rereading Aragon’s response, you may soon hear about your minor applications. When did you do Submit app and submit IDV app?
