Question:

Will fixed penalty notice of £400 issued under section 40 of pension act 2008 effects British citizenship application?

This notice is issued on my company's name and I have good reason to fight against this but I'm not sure what to do.

I request all members to give your valuable opinion on this.

The fine is issued to (presumably) a limited company which is a separate legal entity from yourself - on the face of it doesn't have to be disclosed. I think it would be a different story if you as a director are pursued and found liable/guilty of some offence.

Hello everyone,

I got ILR from tier 1 entrepreneur in January 2020. I want to apply for BC in the future and need help in the following questions.

1- when is the earliest i can apply for BC. January 2021 or 28 days before completing 1 year?

2- Can I apply for Universal credit and council tax reduction. Will that damage my BC application?

1. Once you have held ILR for 12 full months, unless you are married to a British citizen. There is no "28 days earlier" concession for citizenship.

2. Yes you can if you meet the requirements. No it won't affect your application.

Of course yes.

My sister got ILR through PBS dependant route. She might get a divorce before BC application. Does she need any paperwork from her husband to get a citizenship.

Is it same guidance for all citizenship applications or each applicants background still matter.

I got ILR through tier 1 entrepreneur.

For naturalisation there is no concept of being a dependent of the husband - each application is individual and husband doesn't need to give permission or provide paperwork.

Yes. The rules apply to everyone, no exceptions.

Does a child born outside UK need to hold ILR for 12 months before applying for BC or minors can apply straight after getting ILR?

Note: Both parents hold ILR ( jan 2020) and will be eligible for BC in 2021 after 12 months of ILR approval.

A child born abroad can only apply for citizenship when either parent is also applying for citizenship or is already British and the other holds ilr.
