Afternoon just seeking advise please. My friends mother about 8 years ago was issued a British Passport although she is nearly 80 lived and worked in UK in the 60and 70s returned back to Nigeria in 77 and returned in 2000.
Her last son was born in Nigeria and his two sisters and brother where born in UK.
Can he apply under his mother for British passport since the rest of his sisters and brother are British?
Although he is over 30 now so I don't know if that would be allowed.
Thanks
Sankara

Hello

The fact that his mother naturalised British and his sisters were born British has no bearing about his own citizenship. This doesn't open any immigration or citizenship option for him. One of the reasons is that he is an adult and no longer a dependent child. And even for kids, there are further conditions.

He needs to find a route on his own.
