Baby born in the UK to non British parents with settled status

Hello all, I'm due to give birth to my son later this year and I was wondering how all this citizenship works. I've been reading different posts and it's not very clear to me.
So this is my situation, I'm from the EU and I've got the settled status as I've been living and working in the UK for 7 years now. My partner is from a country outside the EU but he has a Residence card valid for the next 5 years. I would like to know if when our kid is born, if he will automatically have British citizenship (which I highly doubt it) or if he will just get our nationality. Also, I would like to know what to do about the passport for him.
Thanks in advance!

The child is automatically British if born to a parent who holds Settled Status ILR. You simply need to apply for a passport and prove your settled status.
or if he will just get our nationality.
If your countries allow dual nationality, then yes, the child can have both.
Also, I would like to know what to do about the passport for him.
For where?? Simply apply for one.

Thanks a lot, that was very helpful. Once he is born I will apply for a British passport for him. I was reading different information on different websites and I got all confused. So thanks again.
