Naturalisation - Indian passport expiry

Plz Kindly advice

My husband from now is eligible to apply for British citizenship from ilr . But his Indian passport is expiring in soon (1.5 months)...Does he need to renew his current Indian passport or can he continue with the naturalisation application process because due to the current covid situation the processing may take longer

Hi I am in the same situation. I have been approved for citizenship but no ceremonies taking place. I cannot renew my passport as Indian High commission has cancelled all such activities. So right now I have no valid passport. Any advice please?
