BC for child born outside UK

Hi Admin,

I received an email acknowledgement on mid-may that my children application to be registered as British citizens have been approved along with my application for naturalization. So far I have not received a decision letter yet, but only a PDF confirmation. All my children are born outside the UK.

My question is; would it be possible for my children to have their citizenship process completed and getting their certificates without the need to attend ceremonies if all are less than 13 years old?

They don't need to attend the ceremony, but you do. They have been registered as British citizens because you naturalised at the same time.

Their registration certificates will be handed over to you alongside your naturalisation certificate, after the citizenship ceremony.

So I can't physically get their certificates till attending my ceremony. Am I correct?

Is there a way to apply for their British passports at the moment?

Not to the best of my knowledge. You will have to wait for the citizenship ceremony and apply for for both yourself and them afterwards.

You can't apply for their passports without their registration certificate.

Correct.

No. You need the certificate before you can apply for a passport. HMPO is also only processing urgent passport applications.
