EXPIRING PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD - OCT20

Hi ,
I am European with EU settled status.
My wife is non-EU and has got a Permanent Residence card expiring in Oct20.
She is going to apply for BC shortly (not sure if by end of June or in Sep20). As we don't know when and if her naturalization will be granted my questions are:
- Should she renew her Permanent Residence card too or just apply for BC?
- What does it happens if her Permanent Residence Card expires without having received any notification regarding her naturalization?
- Should she apply for EU settled status too?

Thanks

When was she granted a Document Certifying PR? Note this is a different document to the Residence Card for EU family members.

you mean the letter that came with the Permit?
in 2010 I reckon. I have to look for it.
What's the difference?

Hi, I checked, and the Permanent Residence Card was issued in Oct10.
She received a also a letter saying:
"Your document which is enclosed features an endorsement confirming your status. Also enclosed is an information leaflet".

The information leaflet says:
"You now have a right of permanent residence in the United Kingdom"....It's not written any name or reference to the person...it's just a general informative leaflet.

Not sure if I understood which document you are referring to at this point.

Hi
I am European with EU settlement status.
My wife is NON EEA with Permanent Residence Card issued 10 years ago and expiring in OCT20.

We are applying for her Naturalisation and I like check some doubts I have about the documents to provide.

The form ask for
1) Passport issued by country of origin.
- she is providing her current passport

2)Proof of Nationality:
You must include
*passport or EEA national identity card
*UK permanent resident card
*evidende of freedom from immigration time restriction

-as there is not an "or" it is not clear if they want three different types of documents or just one. She is providing her Permanent Resident Card only

3)Certificate you have a speaking and listening qualification in English at B1 CEFR or higher
-she is providing her English test certificate B1 CEFR fro Trinity College

4) Proof of living in the UK for 5 years if applying in you own right
.....
if you are a NON-EEA you need to include your passport to prove you have lived in the UK for the relevant 3 or 5 year period. If you don have your passport or if it wasn't stamped when you entered the UK you need include letters (for example from your employer or government department) as proof
-She is providing 5 years P60
Are these enough? Does she need a letter from employer too? An employment history letter from HMRC would be enough?

5) Two referee declaration
- she is providing: 1st referee is a British nurse; 2nd referee is British older than 25

That's it.
In the list of document they dont ask for Life in the UK test. Probably because she showed this to her when she applied for the permanent resident card ?

Can anybody tell me if the docs she is providing are the right ones and are enough?

Many thanks

Liuk is NOT a requirment for PR under the EEA rules.

She needs to complete the details in the form and submit the test pass certificate.

She has got already the life in the UK test.
It's just that I don't understand where she should upload it then as it seems they are not requested.

Are the other documents tks fine?

Just upload it with the English test.

Rest seem fine. A letter from her employer will probably also be useful.

Ok tks.

Indeed the on line form asks if she passed th LIUK and the number of the certificate; It just doesn't ask to upload. I will do as you said anyway.

Is there a template of this employer letter anywhere?

Thanks a lot

Can she provide 5 years of mortgage statements and paid service charge and paid council tax instead?

...as suggested at this link:
