Hello members

I have one question about my application

I already applied for citizenship
I am Little worried about my visa curtailment in 2013
Immigration officer Found me behind the counter of food place and curtailed my student visa.work wasn’t allowed in Visa condition.

Basically I was observing Business Operation and getting trained that time. I wanted to open same business.while I was waiting for JR Decision ( Tier 1 200K).He thought I was working in breach of condition. Will this matter effect my application ?

Hey,

Sorry about hearing that.

Unfortunately, it will effect your application as you breached your student visa conditions in 2013. You caught up working behind the bar. I think it will fail on the grounds of good character requirement. You should ve waited until 2023 in order to avoid any sort of disappointment on your part. Please find the related section below.

Non-compliance with immigration requirements
An application will normally be refused if, within the previous 10 years (before the
date of decision),
the person has not complied with immigration requirements,
including having: worked in the UK without permission to do so.

This is my understanding from the above section and I hope it helps.

(Please always speak to an immigration solicitor, they will give you the best option and the advise.)

Wait and see. But you were caught red handed.

There are risks that you get a refusal and a letter indicating not to apply before 2023.

Keep us posted please.
