As discussed in this forum, the Home Office hasn't sent citizenship ceremony invitations for new successful applicants since March. It means that Councils haven't received any new citizenship certificates since March. Therefore, approved applicants are unable to attend ceremonies in order to complete their naturalisation process, even though many of the Councils have recently resumed private ceremonies for eligible applicants, following the ease of the Covid-19 restrictions.

I tried to call the Home Office, but received no concrete answer, but rather was directed to contact them via email, to which I didn't get a response yet.

Has anyone contacted the HO for updates? Does anyone have further information on this regard?

Standard HO response - citizenship ceremony certificates have not been generated yet, due to Covid, we'll get 6 months to book a ceremony.
