Hi All,

I recently applied mn1 for my kids 3 years and 2years and received below email before They have done biometric.

I am not sure what that means. Is application on process??

I heard that HO process the application without fresh biometric to speed things up but they have not done any biometric before.

This is a generic automated email everyone gets. You must wait now to hear back from HO.

The email doesn't say anything that you are exempt from biometrics and that they will reuse your previous ones. You need to wait to see if you are eligible if they email you. There was also no requirement to upload a digital photo with your application, it will be disregarded. Whether you qualify depends on the of the applicants, when you last gave biometrics.

If you’ve given your fingerprints before
If UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) can reuse the fingerprints you’ve already given, you’ll be emailed with instructions on how to send them an image of your face and your supporting documents.

This will mean you do not have to attend a UKVCAS or an SSC service point appointment to provide biometric information.

If you cannot send the information through the instructions given, you’ll be able to book an appointment.
