Hi All,

A friend is wanting to apply to naturalisation as she has had ILR for more than a year now.

Is it possible to apply for naturalisation with an expired passport?

Will it make the application complex?

A valid passport is not required for citizenship.

When did the passport expire? She will be required to provide other evidence of residence if her passport expired.

The passport expired this year, in March.

She was eligible to apply for naturalisation since July 2019.

What other evidence would work? Pay Slips?
