Few queries concerning paper form versions and photograph requirement.

Guys, I hope all of you are staying safe in the pandemic. May God be with you all!
I have two questions as I am about to submit my application form for BC by post.

Q1. I have been preparing BC since September 2019 and got my documents signed by the referee back in September on the BC application form with the version of October 2019. As one of the referees is currently out of the country, I cannot get him/her to sign the document. So I was wondering whether it is valid to apply with the paper application form of version October 2019 instead of the latest form of June 2020. From my inspection, the only changes to the latest form are concerning the EEA national section. As I am a non-EEA, the changes do not apply to me. If I were to apply with the October 2019 form, would my application be considered for the naturalization? Or will it be rejected and returned?

Q2. Is there a requirement for how recent the photo of the form has to be? As some may have guessed because the photograph is from back in September 2019, it is not within the last month of the application.

I would appreciate your advice.
Thank you.

You can't use a referee declaration and photo that is almost a year old. It needs to be more recent.

You also need to apply online.
