Citizenship absence calculation

I have a question:

Does it matter what kind of absences these are? Do they have to be either approved&paid holidays or business trips only?
If someone, who has ILR BRP already, is unemployed now but still lives in the UK and goes abroad for 60 days within the last 12 months just before citizenship application, does this cause a problem?

For ILR application we were allowed to go for business trips and approved&paid leaves only. I wonder whether the Home Office checks the reasons for absences at all for citizenship applications.

1. Please do not tag your questions onto other members topics. It is considered rude and unfair to other members.

2. For citizenship, ALL absences are treated the same, as absence. There is no distinction between holiday/work/business etc. You simply need to meet the absence limit requirements for citizenship, regardless of what your absence was for.
