Naturalisation questions (BC spouse)

I would like to ask if it was ok to be away continuously for 6 months during one of the 3 years of required residence (total absences within 270 days in 3 years). As there was no absence limit for ILR I am worried it may be a problem for naturalisation.

Thank you

The requirement for citizenship is no more than 270 days absence in the while 3 years immediately preceding the date of application and no more than 90 days absence (also part of the 270 days limit) in the 12 months immediately preceding the date of application.

There is NO rule of you cannot apply if you have been absent for 6 months in one go.

Thank you CR001!

I have another question regarding absence, "You do not need to tell us about trips of 2 days or less". Does the "2 days" here mean 2 whole days or not?

If I departed on 19 Jun from uk and came back on 22 Jun, do I need to tell them about this trip??

Yes.

Two days they are referring to was if you left on the 19th and returned on the 20th.

Thank you, that makes sense, exactly what they give as an example.

Also, if you travel on the 19th and back on 22nd, your absence will be counted as 2 only.

The departure date and arrival date is not counted.

In the required list of documents it asks for One proof of British citizenship of my spouse, which will be the passport. Do I scan just the biometric page or all pages please?

The list of documents does not ask for P60s, do I need to include them?

Thanks
