Naturalisation after 12 months on ILR

Hi,
I am looking to apply for citizenship (naturalisation) for 1 year completion on ILR but i understand the visa application centres are closed due to covid19 situation. I also understand that postal application is not possible for this visa category (5 years on Tier-1 dependent + 1 yr on ILR).
I just want to confirm the information I have got is corect and I have no other option but to wait until visa pallication centres open where I can provide biometric and verify documents?
Thanks

You can apply online and submit. Nothing is stopping you from doing that provides you meet all the requirements.
You then simply book the biometric appointment when the UKCVAS centres reopen.

Thank you for the prompt reply CR001.
Since I am not time bound on ILR, do you think it is best to apply online anyway and pay the fees now? Will my application make any progress until i provide biometric?
I was wondering that if I make application now and if this situation drags on for a long time, it might restrict my travel in case there is any emergency (not that I am planning to travel with covid19 around)
Thanks

No. Your application and documents are only submitted electronically to HO once you have attended ukcvas for identity check and biometrics.

You are free to travel but if you apply and get stuck outside the UK for an extended period and centres have reopened, you won't be able to submit your biometrics in time.
Proof of 5 years residence

Hi,
As proof of living in UK for 5 years, what supporting documents are required?
I have ofcourse scanned all pages of passport which has entry exit stamps and completed my absence details on the form.
In addition, I am planning to attach p60 for 5 years. Is that sufficient or do I need to give the my recent payslips or bank statements (5 years) or council tax bills to prove my presence in UK for this period.
Many thanks

1. Please do not tag your questions onto other members topics!! Your post has been merged with your own topic you already have. Keep all your questions in your own thread please
2. You ONLY need your passport. You do NOT need P60s, payslips, bank statements or council tax!!

Thanks for your prompt reply CR001 and apologies for posting on other thread.
To be honest, I struggle to navigate through this website and I am unsure on how can I find my previous post or even change my passpord to something I can remember after I got a long password after retriving through forgot password option.

Sorry just realised another question from the document checklist.
What does it mean by, "Proof of freedom from immigration time restriction"? is this not same as proof of living in UK?
If not what evidence do I need to provide for this?

No it is NOT the same as proof of living in the UK.
Free form immigration time restriction is your ILR BRP or ILR visa vignette, whichever is applicable.

Alright, that is confusing as there is another question on the checklist to provide current BRP - which is BRP with ILR when you apply for naturalisation.
I think they can do a better job at pooling the related information together from the same source of evidence.
Thanks anyway, I will upload the docs and wait for IDP email to be recieved. Application was made on 23 June.

Not everyone applying has a brp card which is why there are two different questions. Some have ilr visa vignette stickers in their passport or other documents issued under the EU rules route.
