MN1 application questions

Hi

I am planning to register my child’s citizenship, but I have a few questions.

My son was born in 2017 in UK and my wife got her ILR in 2019.

Q1: I am currently applying SET LR for myself. Do I need to use a different email address to create the application?

Q2: My son applied a Tier 1 dependent BRP in 2018, does him need to attend an appointment to enroll the bio?

Q3: Do I need to send original support documents? My wife’s passport and ILR

1) It is best to use a different email address for MN1 application so all the correspondence can come there and do not mix up.

2) You will know the next steps via email.

3) All documents are scanned now.

Thanks CULLINAN

Is the process similar with other visas?

Can I upload the scanned copy to somewhere, like UKVCAS?

I am also in the process of applying UK passport for my daughter, and I sent my wife’s original passport and ILR to the HM Passport office.

Should I hold my son’s MN1 application until my wife’s passport and ILR are returned?

You only need scanned copies. No originals. If you have a copy its fine.
