Hi

I would like to ask what documents are required for a non-EU national when applying for naturalisation, that is apart from life in UK and English. I have tried looking on the forum, but couldn’t find anything.

Minimum:
-Passport
-BRP or other document confirming ILR
-if applying as spouse of British citizen: copy of spouse passport
-Referee forms
-Tests as mentioned
-if self-employed: last self-assessment return

Note that applications within the UK are now online - documents are uploaded and you keep your originals.
