Hello, My daugther got her settled status for being an European Citizen approved last year which means she now can apply for the citizenship.

She is 29 years old an applying as an independent person. She came to England with us back in year 2000 and lived with us for 14 years, went to school, college and university under our care and 6 years ago she moved out and went to live in London. Her mother and I went to the process and we are now UK Citizens.

Filling the online form has not be that hard, however when reading the documentation she needs to submit, it states that she needs to prove that she had employment and insurance since being in this country or means to live here?? but how could she if she was an infant when see arrive here and fully dependent of us and my private insurance (through my job) and she can only show that she has been working and leaving independently for the past 6 years?

Any advice on how to word this in the free text form? should we just fill out a document stating those facts and attach it to the application documentation? I can't see in the online form clearly where can we explain her situation for the first 14 years of her life here in the UK?

Thank you very much!!!

The requirement is to list employment for the past 10 years or since arriving in the UK if LESS than 10 years.
Employment is not a requirement for the application - for the periods not working state unemployed or student, as applicable.
There is no need to explain anything separately.
