English test for citizenship

good morning everyone,
As you can all see I'm a newbie here, but really proud to be here with you all.
I've a tricky question regarding my English language qualification that will be needed for my citizenship application.
I have IELTS General Training certificate achieved on 29/09/2018 with result CEFR level B2 but I don't recall using this for my ILR application as I applied for EU-Settle Scheme and I was granted that [May 2019] no problem.

Now by the time I'm going to apply for citizenship, my IELTS will be expired, as I didn't use it for my ILR, can I use it for citizenship application or not ?
I found this in GOV.UK website:

If your qualification has run out
Some recognised test qualifications only last for 2 years. You can still use a B1 level qualification that you took more than 2 years ago in 2 situations.
Applying for citizenship
You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if you’re applying for citizenship and it was accepted when you settled in the UK.
It does not matter if the B1 level test you took is not on the current list of recognised tests. You do not need to take another test.

Thank you All :D

I think you need a new test, if you had never used the expired test before. Therefore, it was never previously accepted. The two quoted requirements failed.

thank you for your reply. How can I check if i have used my IELTS for my previous ILR or not as I really don't remember. and do you think calling the citizenship helpline to confirm that i need new test is a good idea or definitely will need another test ?

thank you :)

By glimpsing over the above link that should likely have been the case that your previous English language test wasn't actually needed, and whence now need to redo the B1 test again same as Vinny has already said. Also, no harm in calling the helpline who ostensibly are composed with security receptionist with no immigration/citizenship related knowledge.

that link is exactly what i used to apply and I think yes I have to do that awful test again. I thought there might be an exit avoiding those extra cost to be paid for the IELTS as last time 2 yrs ago was £170 !!
if any one knows a cheaper way please please advise me over here.

Thanks goes to everyone in here and special thanks to Vinny & Seagul for their quick response and help
